I was traveling to Europe back then in 2014. It was quite some time but I think this is worth to share. First place I visited was Amsterdam, the Windmill Country and cheeseeee country I would say. I was not taking any tour, I arranged this vacay by myself.
Okay, Amsterdam! like the other European country, the architecture is very amusing.
I went there on April 2014 and above is one of the tram station somewhere, LOL, I forgot where it was. One thing we have to keep in mind when arrive in a country is how to travel from 1 place to another. Amsterdam cost you around 4 Euros for single person with Bus or Tram in period of 90 minutes. Meaning you can travel here and there as many as you can as long you do not exceed the 90 minutes regulation. Compared to other country like Germany, 4 Euros is quite expensive (at least for me, it took me 2,1 Euros when I was in Germany). So, I arranged the tour very effectively so we can use the ticket effectively.
in this city itself, there are some places you can visit like "I Amsterdam" monument. This is the farthest place around the city, so it would be best choice to start the tour from here.
It was quite windy yet the sun rose very nice so the sky seemed blue in the picture. That was my mom by the way. A lot of people came so kinda photo bomb everywhere. You can climb to the top of the words like you see at the background.
Next place was Dam Square, it was a great hall surround in the middle of the city. You can feed lots of birds there.
Some places you can visit along the way back to the main station. The route is very easy, just take a map in the tourist information just in front of the station.
If you want to see the windmill, you can go to Zaanse Schanse. This place is very popular with its scenery and cheese factory. It took me only 15 minutes for around 3 Euros if I'm not wrong for one way and single person. Just click the link I gave you, all information are there.
Gonna tell you another story from this Europe Trip 2014
xoxo,
Kate
