Last August 2016 I went to Phuket with a friend, Paty. Yes, it was only both of us :). From the airport we took official taxi with meter to our hotel. After around 1 hour we arrived at the hotel and paid around 700 Baht. It was quite a distance. The hotel we stayed was very close to Patong Beach. The hotel called Baan LaiMai. If you search on Traveloka, this would be the first recommended Hotel. Me personally also found the place was very decent and convenient.
This is the front view of our hotel:
Took a selfie at Patong Beach would not be that bad ;)
Wait for the sunset.
On the first day we went around the hotel to a place called Banana Walk and looking for one day trip to Maya Beach and Monkey Island. We ate ice cream and a lot of mouthwatering food. I will give you a footage after this blog.
This was the day we went to several Island. We booked the trip D-2 days around Banana Walk or Patong Beach Market. There are a lot of kiosk overing the tour. It cost us around THB3,000 for two person (exclude James Bond Island as it included in another package). I believe the package we took were Maya Beach, Viking Cave, and Monkey Island. We were picked up in front of our hotel and then went straight to the port. 1 boat consisted around 25 persons. I was quite a big boat. However, it took us 2 hours to the first stop and the journey was very bumpy. Tour guide already reminded us from the beginning and we were all given a medicine befor departed. I used to handle it but when we arrived, I then had to throw up, LOL! My hand was freezing because of the wind and actually it scared me quite a lot. I thought almost all passenger on the boat were throwing up. It was the biggest wave I ever experienced so far.
Anyway, here are some pictures:
Maya Beach (could'nt swim due to the wheather):
Viking Cave:
I forgot this one.
Alright, the next day were going to Phromthep Cape and Baan Telanka.
It was said that Prompten Cape is the border of Phuket Island to another Island (correct me if I'm wrong).
Our last destination was Baan Telanka. It is an Upside Down House. We found it from the map. I know this kind of place are everywhere but why not :).
We also made a short video through green screen and it was fun. I put it on my instagram:
